I really was going to pace these stories from my wonderful readers out a little. But they are SO GOOD, I have to share them with you.
Once again, if you want to share an experience that happened to you, just send it to me at [email protected] If you would like it to remain anonymous, just let me know.
Okay – here are Kelli’s stories:
I was about 4 years old and I was sitting at my grandmother’s feet in the kitchen as my mother was rolling my grandmother’s hair. I remember I was playing with one of my dolls. My mother said stop making that noise and looked at me. I wasn’t making any noise, but I heard it too. It sounded like all the pots and pans in the cupboard were popping and pinging. It was a sound like a hot pot on the stove with nothing in it. It went on for a few minutes and then stopped, and as it stopped the phone on the wall rang. It was my uncle calling to say that my cousin had been killed.
Another time when I was about six, we lived in a downstairs apartment and there was a spot above my bed that had turned red. My mother contacted the landlord and they came in and painted the spot. It bled through again. This went on for about a month.
Finally, they removed the sheetrock to see if there was a leak. But there was nothing. They would paint it and a few days later it would come back. Then we got the phone call that my great aunt had died, and the spot disappeared.
I was twenty-eight and my daughter, who was three, had just been diagnosed with ALL. The doctor came into the room and said we don’t know if she is going to make it through the night. It had taken me six months and ten doctors to finally figure out what was wrong with her and when they did, she only had one-third of her blood supply left in her body.
That night I prayed, and I told God that if He was going to make her suffer and not cure her of this, then He needed to take her. The door opened to her room, and as clear as day my grandfather came walking into her room and said, “Now Kelli, I’m here, she is going to be just fine.”
He had been dead for six years. That was 20 years ago, and she is beautiful and healthy and has given me the most beautiful granddaughter.
Happy Friday!
Kelli’s stories are amazing! Where can we read more?!
I agree!! That’s all she shared with me. So, I don’t know if there are any more.
