The London Underground – Part Two

Welcome back to the London Underground. Last week we were able to investigate three stops – The Bank, Bethnal Green, and Farringdon. This week we’re going to explore a few more stops and I promise, each one will be as scary or scarier than the last one. All aboard!! Let’s start at the Liverpool Station….

The London Underground – Part One

When I used to live in Chicago, I often took the subway either to school or to work. Working late some nights, I was sometimes the only person standing on the empty platform waiting for the next train. And, I’ve got to say, it was really creepy. But I’m happy to say that it was…

The Killing Stone

Remember at the beginning of the year, we all looked back with a sigh of relief that we made it through 2021 and said of the upcoming year, “Well, we survived 2021 – how bad could 2022 be?” Yeah, NEVER ask that question again!!!! So, amidst all of the other terrible, horrible, no good, and…

Fort Drum Barracks Ghosts

When I think about the Civil War, I tend to picture places like Gettysburg in Pennsylvania, Antietam in Maryland, Fort Sumter in South Carolina, or Shiloh in Tennessee. The first state that comes to mind is never California. And yet, California actually paid an important part in the War Between the States. For a quick…

The Demon Cat of Washington, D.C.

A harbinger spirit is a spirit that foretells the coming of a future event. I think we’ve chatted about the Gray Man who foretells the coming of hurricanes by walking along the end of a pier. Well, the harbinger of the week, and the one we least want to see, is the Demon Cat of…

Haunted Guest Reviews

Well, the reviews aren’t haunted – but they are about experiences that guests have in hotels. Let me explain – every so often, I love to get onto the Trip Advisor site and do a search on reviews with the word “haunted.”  This time I ended up choosing two hotels, one in Chicago and the…

Old Shoes

A couple of weeks ago I was watching one of the new episodes of Kindred Spirits, a paranormal television show I really enjoy.  This episode was called “Watch Over Me” and if you click on the link, you can find more about it. But basically (no spoilers) there is an old shoe in the old…

Ghostbusters

Several weeks ago, I wrote a Freaky Friday about attics. I mentioned that the reason I was moving my office upstairs to our refinished attic was that my daughter, son-in-law, and three delightful grandsons were moving in with us for a while. Well, they are officially here – and we are having a great time….

Is Santa Real?

I really thought that last week was my last of Christmas Paranormal stories, that is until The Singular Fortean Society sent me their newsletter with the headline “Witness Reports Childhood Sighting of Santa’s Sleigh.” On their blog, they interview Holly Pearce, 24, from Lancaster, Ohio (can I just add that many, many strange things happen…

A Christmas Tree Ghost

I want to thank plat00n from Reddit for giving me permission to share his story. I thought this was the perfect story to finish up our ghost stories of December. Three years before I was born, my mother and father had their first child. He lived for a mere seven minutes before his breathing stopped…

New HP Laserjet Printer I received this product as New HP Laserjet Printer
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The set-up was easy! There were even instructions on how to take the printer out of the box! There were very BRIGHT pieces of tape to take off to free up the moving parts, and then everything else was plug-and-play. I had an HP printer, so the HP software was already installed on my computer. My computer immediately recognized the LaserJet's wireless connection, and in seconds I was set up and ready to go.
I have a home office, and my printer had always been the go-to printer for not only my business but also the rest of my family. I love how quickly this printer prints. So much faster than my older printer. I LOVE that others can print from their phones or their computers - so, no more "Mom, can you print this for me." I love how quiet it is, and for such a powerhouse, its footprint is relatively small. The only thing I wish it had was color printing capabilities - but for everyday office and family printing - it's amazing. #stellarreviews
